Overview:
ServiceNow Solutions Engineer to join our Corporate IT team. This role combines the responsibilities of a developer and administrator, offering an exciting opportunity to both design and implement innovative solutions while ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our ServiceNow platform.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization to deliver scalable ServiceNow capabilities that align with business goals and IT best practices. From scripting custom workflows to managing day-to-day platform operations, you'll play a key role in advancing our digital service management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable, efficient solutions using ServiceNow tools such as Catalog Items, Workflows, Business Rules, Script Includes, and Integration Hub.
Customize core modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Asset, and CMDB to align with business requirements.
Develop and maintain automation scripts, scheduled jobs, and custom applications that enhance ITSM capabilities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful implementation.
Oversee platform upgrades and new feature rollouts with minimal impact on existing services.
Perform routine administration tasks such as managing user roles, access controls, data integrity, and system performance.
Monitor and tune platform performance while handling scheduled maintenance and compliance requirements.
Maintain detailed documentation including process flows, technical configurations, and data mapping.
Ensure alignment with ITIL practices, audit controls, and organizational security policies.
Provide user support, conduct root cause analysis, and create training materials or guides when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
Solid experience in both ServiceNow development and administration.
Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting.
Hands-on experience with integrations via REST/SOAP APIs.
Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and their application within ServiceNow.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow security, roles, ACLs, and data models.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose platform issues and implement best practices.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Strong analytical thinking and exposure to ERP environments.
Experience managing teams and coordinating with external vendors.
