Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects within the client's technology and telecommunications sector, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic goals. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies within a technical environment. As an IT Project Manager at the client, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations and business teams to lead complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery that meets the client's high standards of quality and innovation. Key Responsibilities:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with the client's strategic objectives. Develop detailed project plans and schedules, ensuring clear milestones and deliverables. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure flawless execution of projects. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure project costs remain within approved limits. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, providing updates to stakeholders. Lead regular project meetings, including status reviews, risk assessments, and post-mortems. Drive effective communication across cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies to manage projects, depending on project needs. Ensure compliance with the client's project management guidelines and governance. Must-Haves:
Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the telecommunications, IT, or technology industries with lean on Industry 4.0 Proven experience managing multiple, complex projects with high attention to detail and adherence to timelines. Project Management Skills:
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. Ability to define project objectives, develop project plans, manage risks, and track deliverables effectively. Communication and Leadership:
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams. Experience working with technical teams and translating technical language into business terms. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage stress. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster team collaboration and build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana) and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams). Basic understanding of telecommunications concepts, network infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives. Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Problem Solving and Decision Making:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to make quick, data-driven decisions under pressure. Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2 certification. Nice-to-Haves:
Advanced Technical Knowledge:
Prior experience working on projects involving 5G, IoT, cloud solutions, or network infrastructure. Familiarity with the client's technologies and solutions is a plus. Additional Certifications:
Agile/Scrum certifications, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner). Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies. Experience in Large-Scale, Global Projects preferably in a manufacturing/warehouse environment Experience working on large-scale projects across multiple regions or global teams. Understanding of global compliance standards, especially within telecommunications. Educational Background:
Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
