Job Summary
Seeking a
Lead IT Project Manager
to oversee
Data & BI projects
with a strong preference for candidates with
Insurance/Reinsurance experience . The role requires
on-site presence in NYC
three days a week and managing globally distributed teams across the US, UK, and India.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage
project plans, timelines, and backlogs . Lead cross-functional teams, including
data analysts and engineers . Communicate project updates, manage expectations, and present status reports. Identify and mitigate risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure quality deliverables. Manage project scope, schedule, and budget with proper documentation. Qualifications
Insurance/Reinsurance domain expertise
preferred. Proficiency in
Agile and Waterfall methodologies . Experience with
Azure fundamentals ,
JIRA , or
ADO . Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate with
globally dispersed teams . Preferred Skills
Experience with
Power BI, Tableau , or similar BI tools. Familiarity with
ETL processes
and data integration. Experience in
enterprise IT environments
with cloud technologies.
