Senior Java Developer @ European Institutions - Relocation to Brussels - Open for European candidates

We are looking for hybrid Senior Java Developers, who want to work for the European Institutions in Brussels.

Candidates need to be based within 2 hours of Brussels by car.

Candidates need to be willing to go to Brussels, Belgium, 1 or 2 days when required.

EU candidates are welcome to apply. Work permit is not provided.

This position is also open for employees and freelancers. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and development of components and building blocks;
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis and data modeling;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the users;
• Definition of testing needs and assistance in testing;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting;

Profile:

• 5+ years of Java development experience;
• Good knowledge of Spring;
• Good knowledge of Hibernate;
