  • Analyse, visualize and improve material and information flow in Interroll plants; identify value-adding and non-value-adding steps in order to optimize production
  • Design production processes and workflows systematically to minimize waste, minimize bottlenecks and maximize value-add
  • Develop, communicate and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Best Practices basing on lean principles across plants
  • Initiate and lead cross department optimization projects concerning lead manufacturing in Interroll plants
  • Transform direct and indirect production personnel's mindset to prioritization of continuous improvement, waste reduction and value creation with the help of workshops and trainings
  • Participate in the development of a strategic lean roadmap aligned to the overall operations strategy
  • Define, monitor and report KPIs together with the Global Head of Industrial Engineering
  • Stay updated on production processes, industry trends and best practices in lean manufacturing
  • Collaborate and work closely together with our IE departments and other internal stakeholders (e.g. CTO organization, Operations Controlling, etc.)

  • Master's degree in Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing Technology or similar
  • At least 10 years of work experience, thereof 5 years of lean management related experience
  • Proficient knowledge in Lean Manufacturing frameworks and methodologies/tools like value stream mapping, Muda reduction principles, 5S, Kanban
  • Advanced knowledge in manufacturing technology, especially in mechanical machining and sheet metal working
  • Very good in english and german (minimum C1 level)
  • Hands-on experience in project and change management with verifiable track record
