Job Summary

Inspired Construction Services is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in bridging our residential and commercial divisions. You will be responsible for accurately calculating the total costs of projects, ranging from ground-up residential builds and remodels to complex commercial Tenant Improvements (TI). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction labor, materials, and local market costs to ensure our bids are both competitive and profitable. Long-term employee relationships." Key Responsibilities

• Cost Calculation: Analyze blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for residential and commercial projects.
• Project Scoping: Review "Scope of Work" documents to ensure all project requirements are captured in the bid.
• Bid Management: Draft and submit detailed proposals that outline material costs, labor hours, and project timelines.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination: Maintain a directory of reliable subcontractors; obtain and negotiate quotes from multiple suppliers to find the most cost-effective solutions.
• Site Inspections: Visit construction sites to gather necessary data on field conditions and progress to ensure estimate accuracy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to
