Project Superintendent

Job Description

The Project Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day onsite management of a construction project, from planning and scheduling to supervision and quality control. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and practices, as well as experience managing and motivating subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the day-to-day activities of the construction site, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

· Manage the project budget, ensuring that all costs are tracked and controlled.

· Manage subcontractors and suppliers.

· Communicate with clients, ensuring that their needs are met.

· Ensure that the project site is safe and complies with all applicable regulations.

· Resolve any problems that arise during the course of the project.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field experience.

· 5+ years of experience in construction management.

· Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.

· Experience managing and motivating teams.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
