As an Associate Industrial Security Analyst your role at Palmdale, CA will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. Ready to join forces with our visionary team? The selected candidate will be responsible for providing multi-disciplined Security support for a variety of classified programs and customers. This involves interaction with internal and external customers, and exposure to classified and sensitive unclassified information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, and discretion. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Able to solve problems by utilizing training, knowledge, tools, and analytical skills Conduct risk assessments and surveys as required. Completes daily logs and monthly metric reports. Assist the CSSO as the lead Physical Security Representative. Responsible for ensuring all NG SCIF, SAP, and DoD Closed areas are compliant with NISPOM and ICD 705 and various government regulations, corporate security policies, and guidelines. Supports the installation and maintenance of all alarms, access control systems, CCTV coverage, and lighting within program spaces. Works directly with NG facilities team and CSSO to ensure all new/old construction projects are reviewed for security compliance. Works with DoD security offices to provide physical security guidance on a variety of physical security issues. Coordinate with DoD Security to complete bi-annual alarm response tests. Receive requests for access from Custodians, verify appropriate Clearance and access with DoD Security, forward to Access and ID for Processing. Assist the CSSO in the completion of DoD Fixed Facility Checklist and accreditation. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of Industrial Security or related security, military experience will be considered in-lieu of a degree Current Active Secret clearance with ability to meet enhanced security requirements and obtain/maintain SAP eligibility and access US Citizenship required Must be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs) Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a team environment, take guidance, and follow projects through to completion with oversight Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines Willing to work extended hours, in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, excellent communication skills speaking, writing skills and organized skills enabling effective communications Willing to work a mixed schedule, including nights and weekends, to achieve mission objectives and support program deliverables. This is a 2nd Shift work schedule. Must have the ability to lift/carry up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and climb ladders. Preferred Qualifications: In-scope investigation (T5, T5R, SSBI, SBPR, PPR) completed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program Experience with government networks CV2, CORE, JADE, etc PERSEC experience Experience with Physical Security requirements and knowledge of ICD-705. Experience completing compliance self-inspections and supporting formal customer compliance inspections Knowledge of: DODM 5205.07, DISS, JADE, AP-CARS, and SIMS Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
