Data Management Architect We are looking for an experienced professional to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of data management solutions on a big data platform such as Cloudera or Hortonworks. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise application platforms to drive robust data strategies and solutions. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Transform abstract concepts into practical technical architecture, design, and implementation. Guide teams in selecting the ideal architecture, evaluating tools and frameworks, and defining standards & best practices for scalable business solutions. Implement batch and real-time data ingestion/extraction processes using ETL, streaming, and APIs across diverse structured and unstructured datasets. Design and build highly scalable, performance-oriented data solutions. Code, test, and document new or modified data systems, ensuring robust applications for data analytics. Develop data models for immediate analytics and application purposes. Lead and mentor a talented team of data technology professionals. Assist in project planning and scheduling. Possess expert-level knowledge of Hadoop cluster components and services such as HDFS, YARN, ZOOKEEPER, AMBARI/CLOUDERA MANAGER, SENTRY/RANGER, and KERBEROS. Demonstrate ability to lead problem resolution efforts in collaboration with infrastructure and vendor support teams. Job Qualifications: Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required Experience: 5-7 years of data management experience. Experience in designing stream-processing systems using tools such as Kafka, Storm, or Spark-Streaming. Proven expertise in big data tools including Spark, Hive, Impala, Polybase, Phoenix, Presto, Kylin, etc. Experience integrating data from multiple sources using ETL tools like Talend. Competence in building solutions with NoSQL databases, such as HBase or MemSQL. Solid experience with database technologies, data warehousing, data validation & certification, data quality management, metadata management, and data governance. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python. Skilled in implementing web applications and web service APIs (REST/SOAP). Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Preferred Experience: 7-10 years of data management experience. Experience in the healthcare industry is highly preferred. Pay Range:
$88,453 - $206,981 / ANNUAL *Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
