Overview: Seeking a senior Business Analyst/Data Analyst to support the Wealth Management Monitoring team within Non-Financial Risk Technology. The role focuses on business analysis, data analysis, and project delivery for compliance and surveillance platforms supporting Risk and Compliance functions.
Key Responsibilities: Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements (BRDs, Agile user stories, POCs). Perform data analysis to identify gaps and partner with cross-functional teams on solutions. Liaise with development teams to ensure accurate delivery against requirements. Design, write, and execute BDD and UAT test plans. Manage project plans, timelines, and risks; escalate issues as needed. Lead stakeholder communication and mentor junior team members. Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in global organizations. Strong data analysis skills with hands-on SQL and relational databases. Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Experience with trade lifecycles and asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Options, Futures). Knowledge of compliance surveillance platforms (Actimize, MANTAS, SunGard, SMARTS). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred:
IT Project Management experience (Agile/Waterfall). Experience with large-scale development initiatives. Knowledge of trades, positions, and reference data.
