Responsibilities: Proactively identify and implement changes within your designated system and codebase. Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships to deliver high-quality code. Gather insights and translate them into actionable feature roadmaps. Perform unique responsibilities as assigned by your team. Minimum Qualifications: A PhD degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, completed prior to joining Meta. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience. Experience with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Ability to translate insights into meaningful business recommendations. Experience delivering high-quality and reliable software solutions. Proficiency in systems software or algorithms. Experience programming in a relevant language. Capable of independently identifying, designing, and completing medium to large features. Work authorization in the employment country prior to hire and ongoing authorization throughout employment. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated software engineering experience through internships, work experience, competitions, or contributions to open-source projects. Research experience in Machine Learning, NLP, Recommendation Systems, or other relevant fields. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB. A track record of achievements evidenced by grants, publications, and patents, ideally in recognized conferences. Proven ability to solve complex challenges and evaluate multiple solutions. Strong interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with architectural patterns of large-scale software applications. Public Compensation: Compensation ranges from $58.65/hour to $181,000/year, inclusive of bonuses, equity, and benefits. Industry:
