Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience Master's/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g.,
Operations Research,
Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, etc.) Ability to gather requirements and determine the applicability of Operation research solution and formulate objective functions and constraints Experience with at least one Object Oriented programming language (e.g., C++, Java) Python experience in optimization solutioning SQL query knowledge and query analysis on structured data Depth of knowledge in at least one OR skill area (e.g., optimization, simulation, statistics) Practical experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis Demonstrated aptitude for independent learning, logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
Working experience in building enterprise level optimization based applications 2+ years of experience in a technical professional environment 2+ years of experience developing and implementing large scale optimization models using Linear programming , Mixed Integer programming and heuristics Tool experience : Any of the following - Gurobi , MATLAB and IBM CP-CPLEX 2+ years of experience in Java Experience in using cloud platforms and parallel processing to scale model development/ deployment Optimization experience in operation staff scheduling , vehicle movement scheduling , route optimization
