Job Description: We are seeking a Microsoft SQL Server Administrator to join our infrastructure team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing SQL Server environments across both local on-premises instances and cloud-based Azure deployments. The ideal candidate will ensure high performance, reliability, and security of our databases while supporting mission-critical applications in a manufacturing setting. You will collaborate with developers and IT staff to maintain a seamless hybrid environment that bridges local servers and cloud services. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience, 3+ years of production experience as a SQL Server DBA/Administrator, strong knowledge of SQL Server internals, T-SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization, experience with replication, HA/DR strategies, and virtualization (Hyper-V), hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database, Managed Instance, or hybrid deployments, ability to work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver timely solutions.
