Join our supportive team and prioritize health! Humana is looking for a dedicated Lead Business Intelligence Data Analyst to support our pharmacy programs within the Service Fund team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with market and finance partners to drive the development, implementation, and assessment of pharmacy initiatives. Utilize advanced SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, and additional technical skills to enhance process efficiency and manage pharmacy program expense allocations. Conduct thorough research and generate monthly activity reports that clarify data reconciliations and insights for existing and potential programs. Assist in creating reports and fulfilling ad hoc data requests using Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and various analytical tools. Support value-based specialist payments and contribute to evaluating new pharmacy program opportunities. Leverage your expertise to make a meaningful impact! Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in data analysis OR a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in data analysis. More than 2 years of experience in developing complex SQL queries. At least 1 year of experience with healthcare-related data, such as Provider or Insurance data. Experience with pharmacy claims data is a must. Proficient in advanced Excel functions (e.g., Pivot tables, Vlookups, formatting). Extensive experience working with large, complex data sets across large organizations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with senior and executive leadership. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science. Experience with health insurance data, including Medicare, Medicaid, Claims, and Premium Data. Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Databricks. Experience with Python or Pyspark for data management. Ability to create data visualizations using tools like Power BI. Additional Details: Authorization to work in the US without Humana sponsorship is required as we do not provide work visa sponsorship for this position. Remote Work Guidelines: A minimum internet download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to effectively support Humana applications. Accepted internet connections include Wireless, Wired Cable, or DSL; satellite and cellular connections may be approved under specific conditions. Humana will not reimburse associates for internet service costs, except for those working from specific states like California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota who will receive a bi-weekly payment for their internet expenses. 40 Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this full-time position is $89,000 - $121,400 per year, subject to variation based on experience and geographic location. This role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
