We are seeking a highly experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to support Clinical Operations and enterprise analytics initiatives. This role focuses on designing and building scalable, high-performance data models and transformations using
DBT (including Data Coves)
on Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with both cloud and on-premises data integration tools and a proven track record delivering in regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.
Key Roles & Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and transformations using
DBT (Data Coves) Build, optimize, and maintain
Snowflake
data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency Integrate data from
on-premises and cloud source systems
into the Snowflake platform Implement
data quality checks, testing, and validation
following DBT best practices Perform
query optimization and performance tuning
for large-scale datasets Follow development standards including
Git-based version control, code reviews, and CI/CD processes Work in a
collaborative Agile/Scrum environment
using tools such as Jira and Confluence Ensure compliance with
regulated data standards (GxP / clinical / healthcare data requirements) Core Skills
10+ years of experience in
Data Engineering Strong expertise in
SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and Data Coves Hands-on experience with
on-premises ETL / data integration tools Strong experience in
query optimization and performance tuning Proficiency with
Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Scrum practices Experience working in
healthcare, pharma, or other regulated environments Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have -
Python, Airflow, Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
