Our rapidly expanding logistics company is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring the integrity of our stock. This role is critical to our supply chain operations and requires a high level of precision and organizational skills. You will work closely with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for organization, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and record the receipt of inventory.
- Accurately enter inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, aging, and turnover.
- Collaborate with the receiving and shipping departments to reconcile stock.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly stockroom.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures to minimize loss.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with WMS software is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to safety guidelines and proper use of PPE is mandatory.
- Comfortable with occasional Lifting of smaller items.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles is beneficial.
