Family Chatterbox is a private company that provides pediatric speech and language therapy services in our clients homes throughout the Twin Cities area. *Responsibilities*
* Provide speech-language therapy in our clients home.
* Work collaboratively with families to help educate the patients and the families themselves.
* Mold, adapt, and customize programing and therapy to meet each individual patient needs.
* Work collaboratively with other therapists on the team to brainstorm, challenge, and help improve the care we provide to all of our clients.
* Work to establish a "whole care team" for our clients. Getting schools, teachers, daycares, and other professionals all on the same page to help accelerate growth and progress in our clients.
*Candidate requirements:*
* *Education: *Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
* *License/Certification/Registration: *Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA and Speech Therapy license from the Minnesota Department of Health.
* *Availability: *We are looking to hire one full time team member who is available to work 30-40 hours a week consistently. The specific schedule can be molded and adapted to help fit your desired work times.
*Preferred Experience and abilities:*
* 1+ years experience providing pediatric therapy
* Experience working collaboratively with families
* Ability to adapt, mold, and create new and customized programing to meet each individual clients need
* Located in the twin cities area
* Working in a collaborative environment with other members of the team to improve overall quality of therapy provided
* Comfortable preforming therapy sessions independently in clients home
