Supply Chain leadership, factory, and flight line operations) and seat suppliers and airline customersProvides Engineering leadership to a Seats Integration team representing multiple skill areas, which may include internal payloads, wire design, wire installation, seats electrical, stress, certification, flammability, and software and external resources which may include seat suppliers & sub-suppliers, regulatory agencies, and our airline customersResponds to changes to SOW, assesses the impact and negotiates proposed changes to determine modifications to the deliverables, resources, costs and schedulesLeads project execution to complete engineering work statementIdentifies and reports project technical performance metrics to seats leadership, engineering leadership, and program leadership. Works with executives to implement improvementsPerforms technical Integration of multiple engineering disciplines on highly complex projectsPlans, identifies, and coordinates engineering resources required over the life of the project or programIdentifies program level seat risk and works with the program to implement risk mitigation strategiesCompares actual results to baseline plan to assess project performance, efficiencies, productivity and lessons learnedProvides integration leadership for the implementation and execution of seat projectsProvides seat program status and guidance to Boeing Executives, Supplier Leadership and airline customersWorks under consultative directionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)9+ years of experience working with or equivalent industry experiencePreferred Qualifications14+ years of experience working with or equivalent industry experienceKnowledge of payloads engineering releases and configuration management processesAbility to travel (10-20 percent) International and DomesticExperience in implementing and sustaining project management best practicesPossess strong attention to detail and effective collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal, within the team and externallyExperience in Certification Plan AuthoringExperience in CATIA, ENOVIA, IVT, DCCS, and REDARSExperience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and EASA equivalentExperience in reviewing technical documentsFAA DER Interior ArrangementsConflict of Interest:Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Union:This is a union represented position Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
