Responsible for developing, enforcing, and continuously improving Workday security governance by managing access provisioning and segregation of duties, documenting and supporting security-related change controls, and ensuring audit readiness for internal and external compliance. The role partners closely with IT and business stakeholders to assess security impacts of system changes, support Workday releases through security testing and regression validation, and monitor system activity for policy adherence. It also includes leading security audits and assessments, reviewing roles and access controls, educating business leaders on security policies, staying current on emerging threats and Workday security enhancements, and ensuring security practices align with organizational objectives and regulatory standards. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of experience in IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday security and SailPoint access management Strong knowledge of security frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX) Experience configuring, maintaining, and auditing Workday security (domains, business processes, security groups) Hands-on experience with user provisioning, deprovisioning, RBAC, and segregation of duties monitoring Proven ability to perform security impact assessments for system changes and enhancements Experience troubleshooting SSO/SAML authentication and access-related issues Comprehensive experience in Workday security and operations, including security reviews, risk assessments, incident response and remediation, secure integrations and EIB access, audit reporting and documentation, release support and regression testing, and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to deliver prioritized security enhancements. - Workday Security Cert (within 9 months of hire/job change) CISSP (Certified Information System Security) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
