Your Role and Responsibilities: As a Lead Solutions Architect at Verizon Business, you will be a key technical expert driving impactful solutions for our valued clients. In this role, you will: Possess deep expertise in optical networking technology. Stay updated on client needs, market dynamics, and regulatory changes. Develop a thorough understanding of Verizon's optical products. Design tailored optical networking solutions for client needs. Support the Verizon sales team in effectively showcasing our capabilities. Represent customer perspectives in discussions with Product and Networking teams to influence our strategy. Create and maintain standard design guidelines for our optical solutions. Lead and mentor a team of Principal Architects specializing in optical networking. What You Bring to the Table: To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's degree or at least four years of relevant experience. More than eight years of experience in a related field, including military experience or specialized training. Deep knowledge of optical transport technology. Experience in product and partner management. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across functions. The ability to successfully manage high-profile projects under pressure. Strategic thinking capabilities to develop both short- and long-term business strategies. Analytical skills to inform data-driven business decisions. If you possess one or more of the following, that’s even better: A degree in IT, information systems, or engineering. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Work Environment: This is a hybrid role, where you will work from home and be in the office at least three days a week, as determined by your manager.
