Senior Data Engineer - Data Warehousing
for a direct hire opportunity with one of our client partners located in
Lakewood, Colorado (West Denver area) . This is a highly visible, high-impact role focused on building modern, scalable data platforms that drive enterprise analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
This position will play a key role in supporting major business initiatives, with expected measurable impact over the next two to three years.
What You'll Be Doing Design, build, and enhance end-to-end data pipelines using
Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Spark Architect and maintain
Lakehouse and Warehouse solutions
leveraging
Delta Lake
for scalability and performance Implement and improve
Medallion architecture (Bronze / Silver / Gold)
within
OneLake Develop scalable ETL/ELT frameworks supporting batch, dynamic, and incremental data ingestion Drive performance optimization through partitioning strategies, schema/file design, caching, and query tuning Enable analytics and reporting through semantic models and
Direct Lake integration Establish data quality, validation, observability, and monitoring to ensure trusted, governed data Collaborate with business and product teams to translate requirements into strong, extensible data models Contribute to governance standards, documentation, and platform best practices Provide technical leadership through design reviews, code reviews, and collaborative solution sessions What We're Looking For 4+ years
of experience in
Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering , or a related discipline Experience delivering enterprise-scale data solutions with measurable business impact Strong experience in cloud data platforms, including one or more of the following:
Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, OneLake) Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics BI tools such as
Power BI, Tableau, or MicroStrategy Exposure to
AWS or Snowflake-based platforms
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to work onsite
5 days per week

The base range for this salaried position is
$110,000 - $145,000 , depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual compensation is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
