Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
The DevOps Engineer will support the architecture, design, and maintenance of billing technology platforms that enable core billing and payment functions. This role focuses on platform engineering, cloud-based deployments, database and caching technologies, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will work within an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and resilient application delivery. Requirement/Must Have:
Experience contributing to platform architecture and design. Strong experience with Couchbase or other NoSQL databases. Experience developing and maintaining cloud-agnostic in-memory caching solutions. Experience deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Cloud Foundry. Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Stream frameworks. Proficiency with Git for version control and release management. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA. Strong troubleshooting and incident management experience. Responsibilities:
Contribute to the architecture, design, and maintenance of billing technology platforms. Work with Couchbase as the primary NoSQL database and enhance DevOps-driven caching solutions. Deploy, manage, and scale applications on the Cloud Foundry platform. Support microservices and event-driven architectures using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Stream. Collaborate with Scrum Masters and cross-functional teams to clarify project requirements. Conduct analysis to determine integration and testing needs. Support applications under development and assist in creating test cases. Work closely with QA teams to ensure applications meet technical and functional requirements. ssist with software updates, version management, and coordinated release rollouts. Lead bridge calls during incidents and outages, coordinate resources, and drive issue resolution. Document lessons learned to improve system resiliency. Research, write, and refine technical documentation, test results, and operational manuals. Should Have:
Experience with testing tools such as Postman or Bruno. Experience with service management platforms. Familiarity with Wiki-based documentation platforms. Skills:
Strong platform engineering and cloud deployment skills. Strong database and caching technology knowledge. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. bility to work effectively in Agile development environments. Qualification And Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional experience in DevOps engineering and cloud platforms.
