This position is hybrid (2-3 days in office per week) in Phoenix, Arizona.
Job Description:
U-Haul is searching for an experienced Integration Developer with expertise in Salesforce, Java, API development, MuleSoft, Heroku, Spring Boot, and Apache Spark to join our Salesforce Development Team! About the Job:
This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer who is passionate about building and maintaining robust, scalable Salesforce solutions. You will work closely with business, admins, and other developers to design, develop, and maintain customized Salesforce applications, leveraging best practices in software engineering, integration, and DevOps.
About You:
You will be a self-starter with a passion for clean code who thrives within a fast-paced and collaborative development environment. You will enjoy working with a close-knit scrum team focused on shared goals and can quickly learn and understand the different systems and business needs involved to guide the team in producing robust software solutions. You will have extensive Senior level or greater experience on the Salesforce Platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Be capable of mentoring other developers, including providing thoughtful and constructive feedback.
Be open-minded while creating a positive, constructive work environment.
Support proper coding standards among all projects.
Communicate with the business units to make sure their needs are met.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, and Lightning Web Components.
Design and implement robust integration solutions using MuleSoft, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using Heroku, and modern data frameworks.
Experience with Kafka for messaging and stream processing.
Develop backend services and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Deploy and manage scalable cloud applications on Heroku.
Required Qualifications:
BS or higher degree in Computer Science or related field, and/or 5 years of relevant work experience.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have proof of U.S. employment authorization for this position.
Possess strong communication skills.
Understands Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with Kafka for messaging and stream processing.
Strong programming experience in Java and Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce (Apex, Lightning) and Heroku platform.
Expertise in MuleSoft and REST/SOAP API development.
Proficiency in Apache Spark for big data processing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of data modeling and relational databases, with hands-on experience in PostgreSQL a plus.
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect.
Experience with Heroku deployment and management.
Familiarity with additional cloud services or middleware platforms.
