The DevOps Engineer will lead GitHub migration initiatives, modernize cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and enforce security best practices. The role involves close collaboration with development, QA, and operations teams while mentoring junior engineers on DevOps and GitHub standards. Requirements/Must Have:
5+ years of experience in DevOps roles. 2-3 years of hands-on experience in GitHub migration projects. Proficiency with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions. Strong experience with Terraform and Python/Shell scripting. Expertise in CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms. Experience with Git, Perforce, and SVN. Knowledge of cloud security and administration. Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security. Experience:
GitHub migration involving repositories, branches, and history. Implementing Git Large File Storage (LFS). Using tools like git-p4 for incremental migration. Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). CI/CD pipeline development across multiple tools. Designing and optimizing AWS, Azure, or GCP environments. Managing secure network configurations across cloud platforms. Responsibilities:
Plan and execute migrations from Perforce/SVN to GitHub. Configure GitHub repositories including access control and branch protection. Troubleshoot migration issues (file size limits, Python compatibility, network permissions). utomate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools. Manage environment-specific configurations and state files. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. utomate deployment workflows for .NET and containerized applications. Design scalable and secure cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP). Implement zero-trust security and compliance-as-code. Use tools like Azure Key Vault for secure secrets management. Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams. Mentor junior engineers on DevOps and GitHub best practices. Should Have:
Understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity (VPCs, VNets, NSGs). bility to optimize CI/CD and infrastructure workflows. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Skills:
