We are seeking a
Finance Master Data Analyst
to support the execution and maintenance of Finance master data within a defined governance framework. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role responsible for master data creation, updates, corrections, and validation while working closely with senior master data leads and Finance stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data files and ERP systems, and understands how Finance master data impacts financial reporting, month-end close, and downstream processes. Note:
This is not an IT technical role. Key Responsibilities 1. Master Data Execution & Maintenance Perform day-to-day hands-on master data activities, including: Creating, updating, and correcting Finance master data records Building and maintaining master data templates, files, and load sheets Executing approved master data changes in ERP or MDM tools Supporting periodic data cleanups, remediation efforts, and mass updates
Validate master data for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards prior to submission or system load 2. Data Governance & Controls Execute master data changes in compliance with established governance policies, controls, and approval workflows Follow naming conventions, attribute standards, and documentation requirements Maintain required documentation and audit evidence Identify data quality issues and escalate to senior team members as needed 3. Documentation & Process Support Maintain process documentation, SOPs, and reference materials related to Finance master data Assist with updating intake templates, validation rules, and tracking logs Support recurring activities such as monthly/quarterly master data reviews and reconciliations Required Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Finance Systems, Data Management, or a related field Basic understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts (e.g., GL, cost centers, profit centers) Hands-on experience working with data using Excel or similar tools (data entry, validation, reconciliation) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and controls Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines in a structured environment Clear written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP FICO and Oracle Finance Exposure to master data objects (e.g., chart of accounts, cost centers, hierarchies) Familiarity with data governance concepts and approval workflows
