Über
Verify triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, and hardware or system specifications.
Interpret, modify, and troubleshoot code as needed, including C/C++, C#, batch files, Perl scripts, queries, and stored procedures.
Design and develop automated test harnesses focusing on application, system, and inter-system level issues.
Identify and address system/application performance issues, threading conflicts, bottlenecks, and intermittent failures.
Must have skills: Hardware quality problem solving, familiarity with consumer electronics hardware development
Hardware Problem Solving skills
Effective communication skills across time zones
Nice to have skills: 8D and PFMEA (Quality tools) experience
Experience working on consumer electronics products
What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; some business/functional knowledge or industry experience preferred.
Experience with database programming (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, and/or DB2).
Software testing experience in web-based or Windows client/server environments.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C#, C/C++, SQL, and strong knowledge of software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of software quality assurance practices, testing methodologies, and project management principles.
