The AWS Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures on AWS while leading cloud adoption, modernization, and optimization initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise in AWS services, DevOps practices, security compliance, and infrastructure automation, along with leadership capabilities to guide technical teams and align cloud strategies with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture And Design: Design and implement scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud architectures. Define best practices for cloud adoption, migration, and modernization initiatives. Develop hybrid and multi-cloud strategies where required. Implementation And Deployment:
Lead deployment of applications and workloads on AWS infrastructure. utomate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. Implement high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions. Security And Compliance:
Enforce AWS security best practices including IAM, encryption, logging, and monitoring. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Conduct security audits and risk assessments. Optimization And Cost Management:
Monitor cloud usage and optimize resource allocation for performance and cost efficiency. Implement cost-saving strategies such as reserved instances and auto-scaling. Provide performance tuning and architecture improvement recommendations. Collaboration And Leadership:
Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and business stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and provide architectural guidance. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Maintain executive-level stakeholder communication when required. Required Skills:
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture with at least 3+ years focused on AWS. Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, etc.). Proficiency in networking, cloud security, and distributed system design. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Skills And Certifications:
WS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional. WS Certified Security - Specialty. WS Certified DevOps Engineer. Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments. Education And Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience leading cloud transformation initiatives in enterprise environments.
