Data Analyst Intern / Co-op: ARM is searching for a Data Analyst summer intern to support the ARM team with data management, data analysis and reporting needs for www.roboticscareer.org, the nation's only platform that connects individuals to personalized job opportunities and the training for careers in robotics in manufacturing, as well as other analyses opportunities. The role will also provide data management support for our MyMfgCareer platform which connects individuals with opportunities across advanced manufacturing. This is a dynamic opportunity in a non-profit organization for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Help maintain the completeness and accuracy of the current data repository of training programs www.roboticscareer.org Identify strengths and gaps in education offerings within RoboticsCareer. Create reports using data from Microsoft PowerBI platform. Use data analysis to help define and track metrics that demonstrate impact of RoboticsCareer and MyMfgCareer platforms. Participate in other data analysis projects as requested by ARM. Requirements:
Candidates must be enrolled in college degree program and have completed the second year of college by the start of the summer internship program. Preference will be given to those who have completed course work in one or more of the following disciplines: Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Management. Undergraduate candidates must be working toward a 2-year or 4-year degree. Candidates must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale. Must be a U.S. citizen Qualifications and Skills:
Capacity to quickly learn and apply new concepts and technologies in a dynamic environment Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel (formulas, basic analysis) Exposure to SQL and experience with business intelligence software a plus Strong mathematical and analytical skills Solid problem-solving abilities; resourcefulness Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team Self-motivated, with the ability to organize and prioritize daily work Strong analytical and information organization skills, detail orientated Ability to meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Please note: This is a hybrid role in our Pittsburgh office.
