The Lead Medical Data Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational excellence within the Global Medical Affairs team. This position is perfect for those passionate about data and analytics, aiming to transform raw data into actionable insights that will significantly shape medical strategies. You will partner closely with Field Medical and Headquarters teams to achieve business objectives, develop innovative analytical solutions, and improve decision-making within the Medical Affairs function. Key Responsibilities: Data Collection, Management, and Governance:
Identify, collect, integrate, and clean data from a multitude of sources including field medical engagement, MSL CRM systems, publications, congresses, and medical inquiries. Ensure the data is accurate, complete, and compliant across various medical systems, such as Veeva CRM and analytics platforms. Collaborate with IT and Data Governance teams to automate processes and improve data accessibility. Structure data flexibly to respond to cross-functional requirements. Maintain thorough documentation to support audit readiness, including data definitions and analytical methodologies.
Medical Insights and Stakeholder Analytics:
Extract actionable insights that inform and guide medical strategies and priorities. Evaluate key medical activities and uncover patterns that enhance operational effectiveness. Work alongside the External Engagement & Field Excellence team to identify key opinion leaders (KOLs) leveraging data-driven strategies. Collaborate with global medical teams to improve resource allocation and outreach initiatives.
Medical Operations and Performance Management:
Define and track essential metrics for pivotal activities in partnership with Medical Excellence & Operations colleagues. Implement performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making. Establish a consistent KPI framework across different regions. Prepare dashboards and performance summaries that provide insights targeted at senior leadership.
Insights Reporting and Communication:
Create interactive dashboards and reports to visualize trends and insights for stakeholders. Conduct training sessions for users on the functionalities of dashboards and analytical tools.
Continuous Improvement and Process Optimization:
Identify inefficiencies and lead automation efforts to streamline data workflows. Enhance the design and functionality of dashboards and reporting tools through innovative ideas. Explore new technologies that can accelerate and deepen data analysis.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with various stakeholders to align methodologies and share insights effectively. Develop scalable analytics processes and dashboards. Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Life Sciences, Health Informatics, or related fields; master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, including at least 3 years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology environments. Proficiency in analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python, and SQL. Experience managing large datasets and creating impactful dashboards. Knowledge of Medical Affairs systems and compliance principles is advantageous. Proven ability to excel in a cross-functional environment. Skills and Competencies: Strong analytical skills focused on delivering exceptional performance. Comprehensive understanding of medical affairs objectives and effective scientific communication. Ability to convert complex data into practical insights. Outstanding project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Salary:
Minimum $117,027.00 - Maximum $175,030.00 with potential incentive opportunities. Company Benefits:
