Overview of department: An opportunity to become part of Europe's No. 1 Missile Systems Designer, as a Mechanical Design Engineer. You will work closely with other functional teams, to develop products to meet our customer's needs. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to perform a range of engineering activities including progressing developmental designs into production environments and working with suppliers on technical queries.
Responsibilities: Mechanical Engineering is excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer within our Military Packaging Design Team involving Product Life Cycle, from concepts and detailed designs through to trials, qualification, production, and further in-service support. In this role, you will design and develop mechanical solutions for a wide variety of complex Military Packaging for critical defence products. You will influence design decisions across the full life cycle and play a key role in ensuring designs meet performance, safety, cost and scheduled customer requirements. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply chain. Appointments will be made at an appropriate level based on skills and experience.
