*Key Responsibilities: *
* *Medication & Treatment Administration *– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with facility policies.
* *Patient Monitoring & Reporting *– Observe residents’ conditions, document care accurately, and promptly report changes to the Nursing Supervisor and/or Physician.
* *Shift Handover & Communication* – Provide clear and thorough resident status updates to oncoming shifts, supervisors, and nursing staff.
* *Physician Order Execution* – Properly transcribe and carry out physician orders while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* *Infection Control & Safety –* Follow all infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment for residents and staff.
* *Inventory Management* – Assist in monitoring and maintaining supplies, medications, and medical equipment.
* *Quality Improvement* – Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance patient care and facility Operations.
* *Resident Care & Comfort* – Provide compassionate nursing care that prioritizes both the physical and emotional well-being of residents.
* *Clinical Rounds & Problem-Solving* – Conduct routine rounds to observe residents, address concerns, and implement effective solutions.
* *Interdepartmental Collaboration* – Effectively communicate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members.
* *Customer Service & Resident Rights *– Uphold a high standard of service while respecting resident rights and maintaining confidentiality.
*Qualifications: *
* Active LPN License in the state of *Maine *(required).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
