Our thriving logistics facility in Portland, Oregon, is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the precision and integrity of our stock. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing all facets of inventory, including tracking, auditing, and reconciling stock levels. Your keen attention to detail and analytical abilities will be vital in identifying and resolving discrepancies, optimizing storage, and implementing effective inventory control measures. You will work collaboratively with the warehouse and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory accuracy, which is essential for efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly desirable. We are committed to a safe and secure work environment. Adherence to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is non-negotiable. While direct, heavy Lifting may not be the primary focus, an understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to assist when needed is beneficial.   • Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counting and physical audits.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures.
  • Manage stock rotation and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) where applicable.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate insightful reports.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations for inventory planning.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in the WMS.
  • Identify opportunities for inventory process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
