**The Opportunity**
**Build the Future with Us** - Join our Surface Water team in **Mississauga, Ontario** , where you'll play a key role in delivering meaningful environmental work across Ontario and beyond. This role blends hands‑on fieldwork with office‑based technical tasks, perfect for someone who thrives outdoors and enjoys solving real‑world environmental challenges.
**Your Impact**
+ Conduct surface water field monitoring programs-including flow measurements, equipment installation, and data collection.
+ Develop Health & Safety Plans and Job Safety Analysis documents supporting safe field delivery.
+ Prepare and maintain detailed and accurate field notes and documentation.
+ Coordinate field logistics, including equipment, travel, and client communication.
+ Perform topographic benchmark surveys and support hydrometric station work.
+ Compile, interpret, and analyze field data, including contributing to rating curve development.
+ Draft field reports and installation summaries for technical teams and clients.
+ Support collaborative, multidisciplinary field programs across remote and urban locations.
**The Skills That Set You Apart**
+ A College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field.
+ 1-3 years of experience supporting stream monitoring, hydrometric installations, or related field programs.
+ A valid, unrestricted **Class G Driver's Licence** and the ability to travel to remote sites.
+ Comfortable operating pickup trucks, 4x4 vehicles, boats, ATVs, and travelling by helicopter or small aircraft.
+ Ability to work safely in challenging outdoor environments and carry up to 50 lbs of gear.
+ Proficiency with MS Office and strong technical writing skills.
+ Asset certifications: Pleasure Craft Operator Card, Snowmobile Safety Course, First Aid.
+ A self‑starter mindset with strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.

**Compensation**
**AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:** $66,700 - $88,400
**MB & ON:** $60,900 - $83,800
**NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:** $60,300 - $80,000
