The demand for moulded fibre and environmentally sustainable products is rapidly increasing. Hartmann has committed and invested in this area to meet the growing demand of our products.
We’ve established a brand-new Global Process Excellence team and are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to drive Continuous Improvement initiatives. This high-impact role will focus on optimizing and standardizing administrative processes that support planning, customer service, logistics, and inventory management within a global scope spanning Europe and North America.
You will collaborate with global teams, functional leaders, and IT partners to streamline workflows, improve process efficiency, introduce digital enhancements, and support the organization in building a strong culture of continuous improvement.
As the Continuous Improvement Lead you will:
- Partner with regional PEX teams and stakeholders to document current-state administrative processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support workflow optimization.
- Lead structured workshops and redesign initiatives that balance global standardization with necessary regional flexibility.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with global business strategy, working closely with the PEX Steering Committee.
- Track and report on KPI performance related to process efficiency; identify gaps and present recommendations to leadership.
- Support functional managers through effective change management, fostering a strong CI mindset across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT to develop digital enhancements and participate in relevant change board activities.
- Develop, maintain, and support global CI standards and governance frameworks.
- Stay current on industry methodology trends, digitalization developments, and best practices for governance and process management.
Your Impact
- Your work will directly influence the future state of our core business processes globally. You will contribute to establishing a strong CI culture and will help shape smarter, more efficient ways of working across multiple regions.
- You will be part of a virtual international team working across Europe and North America, reporting directly to the Head of Global Process Excellence at our Danish HQ, who reports to the Director of Digitalization and IT.
Key Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in continuous improvement or process optimization, with expertise in Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics/Inventory processes from a manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience facilitating CI, process workshops and implementing structured process management frameworks in an international environment.
- Proven ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Comfortable working across diverse cultures and cross-functional global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Lean certification (Green Belt or higher) required.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems; familiarity with AI, automation, and digital tools is highly desirable.
- Project Management skills and experience are a plus.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Travel Requirements:
Approximately 30–45 days per year of international travel (primarily North America and Europe).
This position is on-site at our Brantford, Ontario facility. Candidates must reside in Canada and be located within commuting distance of Brantford.
