Job description

The CNC Machinist is responsible for machining forgings, bar stock, and plate material into finished company products using precision CNC equipment. This role requires hands-on experience operating and setting up 3-Axis Vertical Mills and Horizontal Machining Centers, maintaining close tolerances, and troubleshooting both mechanical and programming issues to ensure high-quality output.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and capable of independently setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC machining processes in a production environment.

Requirement:

High School Diploma required; post-secondary education in Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment.

Must be able to interpret machining drawings. Work close tolerances typically .001” to .005”.

Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, verniers, bore gauges, height gauges, DROs, etc.).

Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection documentation.

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality parts.
