Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Developer specializing in Agentic Coding to design, build, and scale AI-native systems that deliver measurable business impact. In this role, you will help build Everest 3.0, our shared AI platform, and contribute to the development of production-ready agentic capabilities that accelerate development velocity and improve business workflows across the organization. This is a hands-on senior engineering role with strong ownership, technical leadership, and platform impact.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deliver production-ready agentic AI systems and platform components
  • Build reusable agent frameworks, tooling, and automation to improve development productivity
  • Improve system cost efficiency, latency, reliability, scalability, and observability
  • Collaborate closely with platform, product, and engineering teams
  • Own end to end delivery of complex technical components
  • Provide strong code reviews, mentorship, and influence engineering standards and architecture decisions
  • Ensure systems are aligned with business goals and deliver measurable productivity improvements



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Strong backend engineering and distributed systems skills
  • Proven experience building and delivering production quality systems
  • Strong system design and architecture capabilities
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • Agentic Coding Mastery: Experience building agent workflows and integrations; effective use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar
  • AI Systems Engineering: Experience with LLM integrations, vector databases, and agent orchestration, with an understanding of evaluation and performance optimization
  • Ownership & Execution: Ability to independently own complex systems and deliver high quality results


Salary Range (Ontario & BC Only): The estimated base salary range for this role is CAD$150 - CAD$185,000 yearly. We include salary ranges in job postings only where required by applicable pay transparency laws, based on the jurisdictions in which the role may be performed. The posted range is a good faith estimate and reflects factors that are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant considerations.
