About the Role:
We’re looking for a Technical Environment Coordinator to support and coordinate the planning, setup, and management of application environments for a large-scale transformation program in the financial services sector. This role involves close collaboration with development, testing, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure environments are deployed, managed, and maintained efficiently across multiple phases of the software lifecycle. The ideal candidate has practical experience managing non‑production environments, coordinating releases, and resolving environment-related issues in a structured DevOps or enterprise setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, configuration, and maintenance of development, QA, UAT, and Pre‑Production environments.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of environment refreshes, deployments, and releases.
- Monitor environment health, investigate issues, and work with teams to ensure swift resolution.
- Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure, and testing teams to ensure consistent configuration and readiness across environments.
- Track environment usage, maintain related documentation, and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in environment readiness reviews and support integration and end‑to‑end testing activities.
- Contribute to process improvements related to environment management, automation, and monitoring.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in environment coordination, DevOps support, system administration, or release management.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and application release processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, configuration management tools, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the financial services industry (banking, payments, or capital markets).
- Exposure to tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, or Jira.
