The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) is a key member of the Technology Project Management Office (PMO) and is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional technology projects with a strong emphasis on data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. This role operates within both waterfall and adaptive delivery frameworks, and partners closely with technology, data, digital, and business stakeholders to ensure successful execution and measurable business outcomes. The Sr. Project Manager provides leadership across the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through delivery, adoption, and closure, while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, governance, and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent technology initiatives, with a primary focus on data platforms, analytics, digital applications, and customer-facing or internal digital solutions.
- Provideleadership to and facilitate the work of cross-functional projectteams by clarifying projectobjectives and definingtactics necessary to accomplish these objectives.
- Establishstructure of the project, including identification and allocation of resources and creation of project plans; ensure that plans receive appropriate review, authorization, and funding.
- Development of project budgetsand integration of project costs into the organization-level budgetand financial forecast.
- Track project activity and expenditures against plans; communicate effectively through multiple channels to sponsorsand key stakeholders; manage externaldelivery partners whererequired.
- Continuously assess project risk factors and recommend coursesof action to mitigate risk.
- Lead and participate in developing, maintaining and evolving standards, tools, templates and documented processesfor process improvement and project governance.
- Perform otherduties as assignedto ensure the success of the team and the organization.
- Assist teams in evaluating and establishing their capacity to inform projectplans as needed.
- Provide leadership in the development, implementation, and governance of project management best practices at MTY.
- Lead and participate in developing, maintaining and evolving standards, tools, templates and documented processesfor process improvement and project governance.
- Identify, manage, escalate, and resolve project risks and issues in collaboration with key stakeholders and team.
- Demonstrated experience working with and leadingmatrixed teams

Skills and abilities
- Demonstrated experience managing data, analytics, digital, or platform modernization projects.
- Deep understanding of and proven experience in a wide variety of project management methodologies, frameworks, tools, and techniques, including agile delivery frameworks and hybrid models.

Education and experience
- Bachelor’sdegree in business, engineering, or similardiscipline required; advanceddegree, professional certifications, or equivalent work experience strongly preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimumseven years of practical projectand program delivery experience in program/project management with demonstrated results.
- PMP and Agile professional certifications are highly desirable (e.g. PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master).
- Experience working within an enterprise Technology PMO.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, data warehouses/lakes, analytics tools, and digital application architectures.
- Strong technical skills and businessacumen.
