Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, for a Senior Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project management by coordinating development, construction schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion. Responsibilities include managing project teams and stakeholder communication, monitoring project performance against key milestones, managing logistics, expediting tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The individual will act as a client’s agent, representing and managing their interests throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Project Management, including planning, execution, and completion of projects
- Proficiency in expediting and knowledge of Expeditor roles to ensure the timely delivery of project resources
- Experience in Logistics Management, ensuring seamless coordination and optimization of project resources
- Local experience in Alberta, BC, and/or Saskatchewan is a must.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing client relations and project teams.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and delivering results
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field; PMP or other relevant certifications are an asset
- Experience in the design, construction or development industry in a project management capacity is strongly preferred
