Here, you’ll utilize cutting-edge CNC machining centers for turning, milling, and grinding operations, crafting customized designs from a variety of materials including steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.
Our facility boasts a diverse range of multi-axis machine tools—lathes, mills, grinders, and more. You’ll be engaged in a high-mix workload of customized fluid-film bearings, seals, and isolators, serving customers across Europe and beyond.
What We OfferAnnual Salaries: Enjoy a 37-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with permanent employment contracts.
- £44,919.62 for a rotating shift pattern of early (6am) and backshifts (2pm)
- £52,452.37 for night shift work
* These rates include shift premiums. Additional benefits include:

- A time-served apprenticeship in a machining discipline or SVQ/NVQ level 3 or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience operating CNC machine tools in a lean-manufacturing environment
- Established milling experience with multi-axis machine tools and/or experience with Rotary Table Grinders, CNC Table Grinders, or 5 Axis CNC Grinders
- Familiarity with machine control systems such as Fanuc, Mazak, Heidenhain, or Haas
- Proven ability to hold tight machining tolerances of less than .0025mm
- Experience with precision inspection equipment, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and bore gauges
- Ideally, experience in power generation, oil & gas, aerospace, or similar environments
- Read process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements and specifications
- Locate and download programs from a DNC storage system
- Interpret work instructions and select appropriate tooling for operations
- Calculate feeds and speeds for various materials
- Read, understand, edit, or write complete programs
- Understand tooling and machinery capabilities intuitively
- Perform necessary quality inspections in line with applicable quality systems
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance productivity
- Visually inspect final components
- Box parts for shipment, including cleaning, oiling, and wrapping
- Ensure free action of movable parts through cleaning, fitting, filing, tapping, reaming, blending, polishing, and aligning
- Utilize precision measuring instruments for quality inspection
- Properly identify components post-assembly/manufacture
