Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a reliable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team. This role is essential for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse movements. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and stocking merchandise. On the outbound side, you will prepare orders for shipment, load trucks, and ensure all documentation is accurate. This position is a critical link in our supply chain and requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with shipping and receiving procedures, as well as a familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), is highly desirable. The job involves physical activity, including frequent Lifting and standing. Maintaining a secure and compliant work environment is paramount; therefore, adherence to all Safety protocols and the consistent use of PPE are mandatory. We are seeking individuals who are dependable, proactive, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock received merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including order picking, packing, and labeling.
- Load trucks accurately and efficiently for outgoing deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE .
