Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity awaits an Inventory Control Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! We are looking for a meticulous individual to manage and maintain the accuracy of our warehouse inventory. This role is critical for the efficiency of our Logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products, in the right quantities, at the right time. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and implementing preventative measures to uphold inventory integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and proficiency in using inventory management software and RF scanning technology. This position requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with team members across different departments. The nature of warehouse work involves potential for substantial Lifting and extended periods of standing. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory variances.
  • Maintain the accuracy of inventory records within the WMS.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping teams to ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Adhere to all Safety protocols and use PPE correctly.
  • Generate periodic inventory reports for management review.
