Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our San Diego, California team. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, which is a critical component of our overall logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions to ensure inventory accuracy. A keen analytical mind, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to safety are paramount. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting on potential shortages or overages.
  • Collaborating with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
While this role is primarily focused on data and analysis, some physical tasks may be required, including occasional lifting of items up to 30 pounds. You will be expected to adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE when necessary. This position offers a unique opportunity to delve deep into the operational aspects of logistics and supply chain management.
