Project Manager (Power Distribution)

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager in the Los Angeles area.  This is a hybrid position which requires going into the office 1 or 2 days a week.  This position requires working knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience demonstrating the ability to gather requirements, support development of project plans and manage schedules for power distribution projects
• Ability to manage schedules, track progress, and contribute to the execution of the deliverables
• Manage budget, planning, measuring, monitoring, executing, and reporting
• Responsible for financial tracking, benefits realization calculations along with performance reporting
• Must have experience with formal project management methodologies, including scheduling, risk assessment, and resource allocation

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or Engineering or related field
• One to three years’ experience coordinating or managing small to medium projects or product workstreams
• Seven years’ experience leading cross functional teams and overseeing complex projects to include three years’ supporting power distribution projects
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera, and SAP
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal abilities as this position works closely with a team
• Proficiency in budgeting and cost analysis
• Project Manager must possess a thorough understanding of policies and power distribution procedures using data driven strategies to plan and monitor progress
• Knowledge of power distribution operations and related business practices is strongly desired
