Construction Project Manager

REDCOM is a well-established design and construction firm delivering projects throughout New Jersey in the commercial and industrial industries. Established in 1982, REDCOM is a second-generation General Contractor with in-house Engineers, Architects, Designers, and Project Managers. Due to the numerous skillsets our team possesses, we have been able to design, receive approvals, and construct many diversified facilities. Our award-winning office is within walking distance of Downtown Westfield and NJ Transit Service to NYC.

REDCOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for coordinating all necessary components of a ground up construction project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS

• 
  Set and manage client expectations via constant communication and regularly scheduled virtual and on-site meetings.
• 
  Coordinate the efforts between architects, engineers, construction team and owners to meet project goals and solve problems as they may arise.
• 
  Create and maintain project schedules utilizing MS Project.
• 
  Develop scope of work from preliminary design/build conceptual drawings.
• 
  Serve as decision maker for subcontractor and vendor buyouts.
• 
  Meet financial objectives by managing project budget and forecasting job costs/cash flows.
• 
  Establish and communicate project systems and controls.
• 
  Act as mentor to Assistant Project Managers, as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• 
  Knowledge of building components, systems, and cost estimating.
• 
  Excellent communication skills (internal and external).
• 
  Strong focus on customer service.
• 
  Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• 
  Proven ability to successfully deliver a quality product on time and on budget.
• 
  Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
• 
  Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite, Procore)

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.

Successful track record of completed projects valued at $2 - $20 million.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University.
