Hands-On Operations Manager - Construction / Pavement Maintenance

Everline Coatings & Services – Newark is hiring a hands-on Operations Manager to lead daily field operations for pavement maintenance and construction services. This role oversees crews, runs projects end-to-end, maintains equipment, performs site surveys, and supports business growth.

This position requires a leader who is comfortable managing projects and working in the field when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily field operations and crew schedules

• Run projects from planning through completion

• Perform site surveys, measurements, and job prep

• Maintain and prepare equipment and materials

• Ensure quality, safety, and productivity standards

• Identify upsell and additional work opportunities on-site

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction, asphalt, landscaping, or skilled trades

• Experience supervising field crews

• Strong mechanical and organizational skills

• Valid driver’s license

• Physically capable of hands-on field work

• Flexible schedule (weather-dependent operations)
