JOB SUMMARY Join our team as a Senior Hardware Engineer, where you will leverage your expertise in electronic circuits and systems design, integration, and testing. With a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience, you will contribute to exciting projects involving RF systems or motor drives and controls. Your hands-on experience with test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators will be vital. You'll engage in project engineering methods, troubleshooting, and generating test reports and procedures. Familiarity with OrCAD, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and VHDL will be advantageous. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Utilize your training in areas such as Digital Signal Processing (DSP), RF Circuit Design, Analog Circuit Design, Digital Electronics Design, FPGA Design, and Algorithm Development. Communicate effectively through strong oral and written skills. Demonstrate advanced organizational and troubleshooting skills, working both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams. Assist in the design and development of electronic systems while developing and executing test plans and procedures. Contribute to the automation of test procedures and design test fixtures as needed. Participate in lab and field tests of electronic systems. Bring familiarity with AS9100 and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance. Occasional travel may be required for project needs. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E) or a related field is required, alongside 3+ years of relevant experience. A Master's degree in a related field or an MBA will be a plus. Experience within the Military/Aerospace industry is desirable, and professional or technical certifications will be an asset. Providing technical guidance to less experienced engineers and technicians will also be part of your responsibilities. TOOLS/EQUIPMENT USED ON THE JOB You will utilize personal computers, telephones, electronic lab equipment, calculators, and copiers in this role. PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS This position may require a blend of sitting, standing, and walking, with the occasional lifting of 10-20 pounds. You will be positioned at a desk, reading from computer screens, and must be able to hear and communicate clearly. WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment will typically involve a moderate noise level. Most duties will occur in an office setting, with occasional visits to shop floors or field locations for repairs and tests. You may encounter exposure to hazardous materials and moving equipment, and a flexible mindset to adapt to changing conditions is essential. The salary range for this position is $77,300 - $128,800, based on various factors such as experience, qualifications, and market considerations. COMPUTER SKILLS Being proficient in personal computer usage, including Microsoft Office, as well as software such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Schematic Capture (i.e., ORCAD or equivalent) is necessary.
