Project Manager - Commercial & Industrial Painting
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $65,000-$80,000 + Project Bonuses + Profit Sharing
LHH is hiring a Project Manager for a well-established commercial and industrial painting contractor in Indianapolis. This is a hands-on, field-focused role overseeing multiple crews and ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient project delivery.
What You'll Do
• Lead multiple painting projects at once, managing crews of 2-15 team members
• Oversee field operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and vendor purchases
• Manage scope changes and change orders (training provided)
• Use tablet-based technology for tracking and reporting project progress
• Support hiring efforts through interviews and skills validation when needed
• Uphold company values: safety, integrity, accountability, and clear communication
What You Bring
• Painting experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success managing people and leading field teams
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Comfort working in active commercial and industrial environments
• Basic technology skills (tablet usage required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
