Coverage Needed

• Start Date: 05/01/2026
• End Date: 12/31/2026
• Schedule: 24-Hour On-Call Coverage (0700 - 0700) - Trauma Call - approximately 19 days per month

Clinical Details

• 24-hour Trauma Call (ACS Verified Level One Trauma Center)
• Patient Demographics: Ages 15 years and older (adolescent through geriatric)
• Number of Plastic Surgeons in Practice: 1 (Hand coverage), 1 community provider (Plastics), 2 hospital-employed (Ortho Hand)
• Case Volume: Average 1 surgical case per month; Summer months approximately 3 per month
• Annual ER Volume: 90,000
• Clinic Responsibilities: In-person response when procedures are required; Supported through Trauma Clinic: Tuesdays, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Required Procedures: Hand-related procedures, Traumatic hand reconstruction, General plastic surgery procedures including Facial laceration repair, Scar revisions, Skin grafts, Flaps, Minor burn care

Requirements

• Board Certified in Plastic Surgery (Boarded within 5 years of training)
• Active MI license
• BLS and ACLS - Highly Preferred
• Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)
