- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, examinations, and assessments of pediatric patients.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric illnesses, injuries, and health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications, therapies, and other interventions.
- Provide routine well-child care, including vaccinations, growth monitoring, and developmental screenings.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, parents, and guardians to address their concerns and provide clear explanations of diagnoses and treatment options.
- Participate in on-call rotations, with a call schedule of 1 in 3.
- Attend regular staff meetings and actively contribute to practice improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest medical research, advancements, and best practices in pediatric medicine.
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a residency program in Pediatrics.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Valid medical license in the state of Minnesota (or eligible to obtain).
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current pediatric medical practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with patients.
- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule with a variable workweek. 32 plus hours / weekly
- Ability to see 12-18 patients per day, while maintaining high-quality care.
